BUSH POINT
BUSH POINT
GREYT BLUFF
on Beautiful Whidbey Island
BUSH POINT is a residential community on Whidbey Island's westside, just a few miles outside of Freeland.
It features a lighthouse, public boat ramp, beach access, and remains the famed hot spot for salmon fishers. South Whidbey Island State Park is just minutes away.
The views are SPECTACULAR. In addition to breathtaking sunsets, there are east-facing views of the Olympic Mountains. Almost all maritime freight traffic, naval vessels, and cruise ships pass through Admiralty Inlet going to and coming from the major ports of Seattle, Tacoma, and the United States Naval facilities.
August 01, 2007: Back in 1991, Rilla and Gordon Hepworth introduced me to the Pacific Northwest. And I was hooked. A few years later, Sean and I began to explore the beautiful coastline. Initially, we would base ourselves at the Port Townsend Inn and take day trips with our dog, Axelrod, visiting communities throughout the area. The standout for us was Whidbey Island. For a number of years, we would rent a home on Spyglass Drive and look down at the house we had hoped to someday own. Late in the summer of 2007, the keys became ours.
