April 1, 1996:  In 1980, my mother and I partnered on the purchase of this triplex on a double lot in the historic downtown area of Huntington Beach.   Sixteen years later, Sean and I bought out her interest .  To this day, it continues to be our primary residence and we have been fortunate to have shared the building with a short list of  wonderful tenants.  It has also been instrumental in our ability to diversify our investments.
